Detailed Itinerary
The itinerary below is an example of our your week with us on you catamaran sailing holiday.
The order of the itinerary may change, each day we look at the weather and local activities to decide the best island.
Day 1
Arrive Aktion Airport, Preveza [PVK] -- Transfer and Overnight Sivota Bay, Lefkada.
You can arrive at Aktion Airport at anytime, we will arrange for you to be met and transferred to Sivota Bay, Lefkada.
Other pick-up point can be arranged, just let us know what you require.
When you arrive in Sivota, we will get you settled onto the catamaran. You can spend the afternoon and evening
enjoying Sivota Bay with its small local beaches and its water-front tavernas and cocktail bars.
Day 2
Sail to Fiscardo on Kefalonia Island -- Overnight Fiscardo, Kefalonia Island.
Today we depart Sivota Bay early and head for Fiscardo on the east side of Kefalonia Island.
Depending on the wind we will sail across to Ithaka and stop for lunch in one of the amazing bays where you will get to enjoy the
clear blue water, relax on the beach, swim, snorkel or take a SUP or Kayak and the explore the local coastline.
A quick stop in Foki Bay with its amazing cave system will give you a chance for some exploring and rock jumping or just enjoy
the sites befor heading in Fiscardo. In the evening we will visit the amazing Fiscardo where you can eat at one of the local tavernas, experience the stunning scenery and visit
the local shops and bars before enjoying a drink on the catamaran under the stars.
Day 3
Sail to Kioni on Ithaka Island -- Overnight Kefalonia Island.
Today we depart Fiscardo and sail towards Kioni on Ithaka Island.
We can sail either sail north past Sami on Kefalonia and visit the Drogarati Cave which is approximately 150 million years old and
has impressive formations of stalactites and stalagmites or we can sail south past Arkoudi which is home to a family of goats
We will stop for lunch in one of the bays where you can enjoy a swim, relax on the beach, snorkel or have a go on a SUP or Kayak.
When we arrive in Kioni there is an option to visit the Odysseus Palace also known as the School of Homer which offers
amazing scenic views and a chance to see this eighth century BC palace.
In the evening, spend some time exploring the small village of Kioni and enjoy the amazing shops, tavernas and restaurants.
Day 4
Sail to Kastos Island via Atokos Island -- Overnight Kastos Island.
Today we will sail towards Kastos Island stopping along the way at Atokos Island which is famous for its family of black pigs
that live on the beach and even occassionally take a swim!
We will have lunch in the bay, enjoy a swim, snorkel or you can take a SUP or Kayak and the explore the local coastline.
After lunch we will use the afternoon win an sail towards the island of Kastos where we will anchor and experience the crystal clear water.
The small port of Kastos has a few tavernas and small local shops as well as a stunning coffee shop / taverna which is in an
old windmill that over looks the sea and the mainland of Greece.
Day 5
Sail to Kalamos Island via Formikoula Island -- Overnight Kalamos Island.
After breakfast we depart from Kastos and sail towards Formikoula Island which is home to the rare Monk Seal.
After a stop and a swim, we will sail around Kalamos Island stopping for lunch at the amazing Agrapidia beach with its old
seafront windmill, clear blue water and small beach front taverna before sailing on to our overnight stop which depending on the wind
will either be Port Leoni, the Port of Kalamos or on the north in Episkopi.
Kalamos offers some amazing scenery with its forested coastline between the villages of Kalamos Port and Episkopi on the north of
Kalamos, the Venetian Castle of Kalamos from 13th century BC, Greek Chapels, windmills and the quaint village of Kalamos.
Day 6
Sail to Meganisi Island via Skorpios Island -- Overnight Little Vathi, Meganisi.
After breakfast we depart Kalamos and we sail towards Meganisi Island
We will sail out toward Skorpio Island Skorpios Island, the most famous private island and was once owned by Greek
shipping billionaire, Aristotle Onassis who married Jacqueline Kennedy on the island.
We will stop for lunce in Abelike Bay which has amazing clear blue waters, a beach front taverna and is perfect for snorkelling,
swimming, kayaking and even another walk over to the small port of Vathy.
In the evening we head for Little Vathy and our overnight stop at an amazing taverna with its private beach and bar area.
After dinner take a walk throught the small Vathy port which has incredible shops, tavernas, bars and coffee shops.
Day 7
Sail to Lefkada Island -- Overnight Sivota Bay, Lefkada Island.
Our final day on the sea and we depart Meganisi sailing back towards Sivota Bay on Lefkada Island.
Our route takes us up the Meganisi channel and past a number of small bays, sea caves, beaches and bays. We will stop for
lunch in one of the amazing bays where you will get to enjoy the clear blue water, relax on the beach, swim, snorkel or take
a SUP or Kayak and the explore the local coastline.
When we arrive in Sivota Bay, you will have a chance to explore the area, have a swim and enjoy the fantastic water
front tavernas, souvenir shops and maybe have a cocktail or two.
There are many tavernas and restaurants where we can enjoy a meal and experience the local vibe of Sivota Bay.
Day 8
Transfer to Aktion Airport, Preveza [PVK] or other drop-off points [as required].
In the morning if you have time [depending on flights] you can take a walk around Sivota Bay.
After breakfast and maybe a last round of souvenir shopping, its time to say farewell [until the next time].
Your flights can depart Aktion Airport [PVK] at anytime, we will arrange the transfers for you.
